A PORTRAIT
I am currently taking commissions for: August
Allow 3 weeks for completion and 1 week to ship.
A pet portrait will immortalise your best friend and their unique personality.
Where do we start?
Step 1: Contact me with what colour option and size you would like to order (options listed below), and attach your favourite photo of your pet. The better the lighting and the clearer the details are in your photo, the more alive their likeness will be.
Step 2: Once I have OK’d the photo, and we have both agreed on the project details and the price, a 15% deposit will secure your portrait.
Step 3: Leave the drawing up to me! I will send an initial mock up of the drawing for you to OK. Please note, once I start drawing the details, it is not possible to make changes. I will keep you updated throughout the process and you can approve the final before I invoice and ship it to you.
What are your prices?
These prices are a guide. Prices may be higher for complex details, backgrounds or highly custom requests. For artworks with more than one pet, please contact me for a personalised quote—things start to get more complicated if you would like me to combine multiple pets from different photos, as the perspective and lighting will be different… but usually not impossible!

Where do you ship to?
Australia: Free postage! Parcel will be shipped flat and tracked.
International: US, Canada, UK = Yes. Sorry, I do not currently offer shipping to the EU (the requirements are too complex for my one-woman band). Contact me for a shipping quote to your country. International orders may be subject to customs fees upon arrival, which you will need to pay.
Do you offer returns?
I will refund you if the product gets to you creased across the image, torn or wet, or if it looks like a delivery truck ran over it. Send me a photo of the damage for a refund. I do not accept “change of mind” returns and you will not get your deposit returned if you decide you do not want the final drawing. I put a lot of time and soul into each piece.
Do you offer prints or framing?
No and no. I do not offer prints, as my interest is in quality, original works of art. You are welcome to make your own print copies of your pet drawing for family and friends, but not for commercial use. Framing is a very personal thing, so you are better off choosing a local framer that will work with you to meet your style and budget. Or buy a cheap one at Kmart. I don’t judge, but the art won’t last as long!
What materials do you work with?
I use Prismacolor pencils on tan coloured fine art paper.
