Hi, I’m Kate Sallai, an animal artist who enjoys getting lost in the fine details and going a little bit overboard with them sometimes!

I’ve drawn animals for as long as I can remember and I thought it was about time to have a proper go and make a business out of it. I grew up in Clunes and recently have found myself here again. I love being back in the country and I don’t know how I survived the city for so long! I work with pastel pencils, but sharpening them is a love-hate relationship.
